Anger Management Classes

Anger management classes have become extremely popular over the last several years. Anger management classes should teach skills to improve communication, judgment and impulse control, empathy, stress management, forgiveness, self-talk, and managing expectation more appropriately. Anger management classes are not just for court ordered or mandated individuals, but really for anyone seeking to improve skills in these areas. Our organization, AJ Novick Group has seen a dramatic increase in referrals to our anger management classes particularly from business professionals, physicians, airline pilots, and most recently high stress federal employees.

Our approach to anger management is not a psychological one, but rather an educational, skill building course designed to improve the areas listed above. Clients are given both pre and post assessments as well as our popular client workbook, “Anger Management in the Twenty-first Century”. Appropriate referrals to our organization include businesses, EAP providers, Human Resource staff, couples, and individuals.

Anger can have lasting and devastating effects on ones occupational status as well as personal relationships. There is no reason to let uncontrolled anger and hostility destroy what is most important to you. You can learn skills to make a huge difference in your life.
